What Is Yin?

Yin is a slow-paced meditative style of yoga. It focuses on targeting our deep connective tissues such as joints, fascia, and ligaments. Yin yoga is influenced by traditional Chinese medicine that suggests holding certain yoga positions to stimulate the energy meridians of the body, which activate acupressure points, in turn helping to restore our bodies balance by reducing emotional and physical stress and energetic blockages.

The concept behind reiki is that universal energy flows through every living being, energy moves through pathways in the body such as chakras and meridians and when it flows smoothly our wellbeing is optimal.
